  • Q.What is the price?

    A.We have many different packages with many different prices. Pricing can be requested via our web form. A pricing email will be sent instantly or you can always give us a call on the phone at (800) 869-0915.

  • Q.What is the warranty on the Apex Dental Sensors?

    A.Apex  Dental Sensors come with a (2) Year Manufactures Warranty. You can also enroll into the SensorCare Protection Plan which will cover your sensors against physical damage. The cost to enroll is $495/year and covers up to (10) Apex Dental Sensors per office. If the Apex Sensor is damaged and needs to be replaced, the replacement cost if 50% off the current retail.

  • Q.Do you have an extended warranty/protection plan?

    A.You can also enroll into the SensorCare Protection Plan which will cover your sensors against physical damage. The cost to enroll is $495/year and covers up to (10) Apex Dental Sensors per office. If the Apex Sensor is damaged and needs to be replaced, the replacement cost if 50% off the current retail. Also, as part of the plan you get 50% off repairs on the Apex Dental Sensors.

  • Q.Do you offer financing?

    A.Yes, we do offer financing. We have a couple different terms. 6-months at 1%, 12-months at 3%, 60-months at 5.99%

  • Q.Do you have sales reps in my area?

    A.We currently do not have sales reps. At Masterlink, we are an internet based company. We cut out the middle man and that is how we are able to offer our prices for nearly half the cost of our competitors. When you have a sales rep, the cost of a dental sensor goes up because you are paying for the sales rep car, gas, meals, etc. Not cool! So we cut out the sales rep and passed the savings on to you.

  • Q.Do you have a return policy?

    A.Yes, we have a 30-day return policy. If you are not happy, all we ask is to give us a chance to correct any issues you may be having. If you are still unhappy, put everything back in the box and send it back. Once received we will refund your money.

  • Q.Do you sell other products?

    A.Yes, we carry dental sensors, intraoral cameras, handheld x-rays, phosphor plate scanners and more. You can always visit our online store at www.dentalstore123.com

  • Q.What software is offered with the Apex Dental Sensors?

    A.When you purchase a sensor and software package the software that comes with the Apex Dental Sensors is the Apteryx XrayVision Software. More information on Apterytx XrayVision can be found here.

  • Q.How much is Technical Support?

    A.You will get (1) Year of Free Technical Support & Training with the purchase of a Apex Dental Sensor. After the first year, you have the option to renew. The cost to renew is ($495/year).

  • Q.How do you install the software?

    A.We install everything remotely over the internet. We have done over 2000 offices this way and have gotten pretty good at it. Once you receive your sensors, we will get remoted in to your computers to install any drivers and software. Once installed we will train you and your staff over the phone to make sure everyone is a pro in now time.

  • Q.How much are updates for the software?

    A.All minor updates are free! When moving to a major update say like Version 3 to Version 4 the cost to upgrade to the latest version is $500.

  • Q.What if I have questions after my install?

    A.Simply give us a call you have unlimited support and training included for the first year. So call away!

  • Q.Will the Apex Dental Sensors work with my current imaging software?

    A.It depends on your imaging software. We are working every day to get our Apex Dental Sensor integrated directly with all the major imaging software companies. If the sensor is not integrated directly in, most imaging software supports TWAIN. We do offer a Free TWAIN with the Apex Dental Sensor that would allow the sensor to work in any imaging software that supports TWAIN. If you have another imaging software other than Apteryx please give us a call to see how we can get the Apex Dental Sensor to work in your imaging software.

  • Q.Does Apteryx Software bridge to my practice management system (PMS)?

    A.Apteryx XrayVision bridges to nearly every practice management system on the market via direct integration or our NameGrabber bridge. For a complete list of practice management systems please visit our compatibility page.

  • Q.Does the Apex Dental Sensor plug in to a box first before the PC?

    A.No, the Apex Dental Sensor are 100% Direct to USB. There is no extra poxes you need to buy or plus into or modules in the cord.

  • Q.Is the Apex Dental Sensor Waterproof?

    A.Yes, the Apex Dental Sensor is hermetically sealed and has a IP67 rating. The Apex Dental Sensor can be immersed in disinfecting liquid, without the need to worry about damaging the sensor.

  • Q.Do you have a demo/loaner program to try out the sensors?

    A.Yes, we do have a Demo-By-Mail program where you can try out the Apex Dental Sensor for a few days. However, there is usually a waiting list. If you don’t have time to wait we do have a 30-day return policy.

  • Q.Where are the Apex Dental Sensor Manufactured?

    A.The Apex Dental Sensors are manufactured in Japan. At Masterlink, we have a strict quality control policy. The sensors are tested in 3 different stages before the sensors are sent out to you. This assure you are getting the highest quality dental sensor.

  • Q.Why are your prices so much lower than say Dexis, Schick or Gendex?

    A.At Masterlink, we are an internet based company. We cut out the middle man and that is how we are able to offer our prices for nearly half the cost of our competitors. When you have a sales rep, the cost of a dental sensor goes up because you are paying for the sales rep car, gas, meals, etc. Not cool! So we cut out the sales rep and passed the savings on to you. We also make sure to keep our overhead low to be able to offer high quality products at an affordable price.

  • Q.How long do the sensors last?

    A.The Apex Dental Sensors can last 4-8 year maybe even more. It like asking how long your cell phone or watch is going to last. It all depends how you take care of the sensor. If you are like one office where they were playing hockey with the sensor in the office. It probably won’t last too long. (True Story). But, if you take care of the Apex Dental Sensor it should last a long time.

  • Q.What intraoral camera comes in the Apex Dental Sensor Packages?

    A.The intraoral camera that comes for Free in some of the Apex Dental Sensor packages can be found on our dental store.

  • Q.Does the Apex Dental Sensor work with Apple Computers?

    A.Currently the Apex Dental Sensors are not compatible with Macs. This should be released in the next 6-months.

  • Q.How long will it take to get my Apex Dental Sensor?

    A.If you ordered today. In most cases we can get the Apex Dental Sensor out the same day. We offer free FedEx Ground shipping and you should receive the sensors in a few days

  • Q.Do your sensors and software work with tablets?

    A.Yes, we support the Microsoft Surface Pro. You can run the Apteryx XrayVision Software and plug the sensor in to the Surface Pro. We support any windows based tablet with a USB port.
